Exciting news about our next event!

Each year we try and hold a major event to bring together industry professionals, researchers and our students. Over the years we’ve hosted 9 UGSRP Symposiums, 1 on-line research presentation (during the pandemic) and most recently, two sustainability conferences for Ontario hospitality students.

With the school year in full swing once again we have started the planning for our next event which will be held in early 2026. The event will take the form of a Symposia once again, but with a few twists to be announced later. The topic will be “Why restaurants and dining out is more important than ever.” We are currently in the recruiting stage for an exciting group of Canadian industry leaders to present at the event about the social, economic, and cultural importance of restaurants in a time when our society is changing at an unprecedented rate.
